This was a risk minimisation project for unstable batters around the ACT including inside the Namadgi park. A wide range of methods was used to address the individual requirements of each site, including:
- Batter scaling
- Shotcreting of undercuts and hollows
- Rock bolting
- Rock meshing
- Installation of energy absorbing fencing
- Maintenance to existing drainage
- Development of spoil sites as not to interfere with surrounding environment
- Construction of signage and rectification of existing road furniture
- Traffic management
